Lothian Joint Formulary Summary of Amendments (April 2017)

Amendments to the content of the Lothian Joint Formulary are agreed by the Formulary Committee. A summary document of the amendments is prepared. The purpose of the summary is to detail the main changes to the LJF sections and provide some additional information on the reasons for some of the changes.

A medicines booklet has been developed by the Area Drug and Therapeutics (ADTC) Collaborative, hosted by Healthcare Improvement Scotland. It focuses on the patient journey starting at consultation and explains how people can work with their doctor (or other healthcare professional) to decide whether a medicine is needed and if so, which to prescribe.
